# Traffic

> How to view traffic data and connect traffic sources in RankWit.

The **Traffic** section in Monitoring shows traffic-related data for your site (e.g. visits, trends) when you connect a source like [\*\*Google Analytics \*\*](https://developers.google.com/analytics)\*\*and \*\*[**Google Search Console**](https://search.google.com/search-console/).

## What you see

* **Traffic metrics** (e.g. sessions, users, page views) and trends over time.
* Charts or tables you can filter by date range or segment when the app supports it.
* A clear message to **connect a source** if none is set up yet.

## Connecting a traffic source

To see traffic data:

1. Go to **Workspace → Integrations**.
2. Find **Google Analytics** (or the traffic source your plan supports).
3. Click **Connect** and sign in to the service; approve access when asked.
4. Return to **Monitoring → Traffic**. Data will sync and appear (it may take a short time).

<Check>
  Once connected, you can switch the **website** or **property** in the selector if you have more than one.
</Check>

## Using the Traffic view

* **Change the date range** to compare periods (e.g. last 7 days vs last 30 days).
* **Sort or filter** tables by the metrics that matter to you.
* **Drill down** into a metric or page when the app offers a detail view.

<Warning>
  If you **disconnect** the integration in Workspace → Integrations, traffic data disappear. Reconnect the same account to restore it.
</Warning>
